I haven’t done a favourites post in a while so wanted to do one for November. My definition of favourites are the things that I keep reaching for over and over for at least a month. I have lots of products at my disposal so for me to do that means the product is really working for me.
The Body Shop Amazonian Saviour €15.00
Originally sent to me to help revive old tattoos, this balm does so much more than that. Because it only has 9 ingredients the Amazonian Saviour Balm is kind and gentle on the skin. Unfortunately over the last six weeks I’ve needed this balm more often than I had expected. Two children hit with chicken pox ,various rashes and dry skin patches have put it to the ultimate test. The results from using this balm are honestly astounding.
My daughters have benefited the most from it, it has helped moisturise their skin gently post chicken pox when I wasn’t sure what else to use. It has helped to ease redness and bumpiness underneath their skin. Also it has transformed my husbands incredibly dry elbows that were almost at the point of broken skin and bleeding. These days I pretty much use it for every skin ailment that arises. I want to spread the word to every parent out there that you need a pot of this in your house. Because it is marketed as a tattoo balm I’d hope it wouldn’t turn those without tattoos off of buying it. As it happens it makes a might fine tattoo balm too!!
Update- I actually bought another pot of this while away on holidays as I forgot to bring my one with me and kept looking for it while I was away!

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl Illuminator- Gilded Honey €28.00
You can never have enough highlighters…fact!! With that though, no matter how many you have you’ll always have your favourites. Gilded Honey from Laura Geller is one of those favourites for me. Laura Geller is only a recent enough addition to Irish stores, launching in Debenhams Ireland around this time last year. Out of all of her products though, Gilded Honey is probably her most well known. Although it’s a gentle highlighter it still packs a mighty punch. Unlike others though it gives the skin a dewy looking highlight as opposed to a disco ball finish!! Highlighters are the types of products that are excellent value for money as they take quite some time to make your way through. If you’re on the lookout for a new highlighter then I couldn’t recommend this one more highly.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips- Kim KW €32.00
It’s no secret at all that Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are my ultimate favourites right now. But even among favourites you can have sub-favourites and for me, Kim KW is that. Not being the biggest Kardashian fan in the world I was reluctant for a long time to try this shade but finally during the summer I gave in. Currently I have approximately 900 nude lipsticks (each one different to the other, obviously!) but this one completely stands out. Firstly the texture of this lipstick is divine, it’s creamy but long lasting and glides on effortlessly.
Every time I wear it I’m asked several times without fail what shade it is. I adore it and 100% I will re-purchase it when the time comes. If nude lipsticks are your thing and you don’t have this in your collection then you need to take a look at that pronto!!

The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask €25.00
A second entry on my favourites list from The Body Shop this month. I’m crushing majorly on this brand right now, they’re just going from strength to strength. This mask is 100% Vegan and is gentle enough to be used several times a week. Put simply, I cannot get enough of this mask.
The Body Shop mask range in general is incredible but this one in particular has caught my eye. This mask purifies and gently exfoliates the skin while helping to break down the damaging effects of pollution. Since I started using it I can really see an improvement in brightness and overall texture. At €25 for 75mls it’s excellent value for money as a pot that size will keep you going for quite some time.
So there you have it, some of my top picks from the last month. Have you used any of these products yourself? Any of your favourites included? Let me know your thoughts below. As always thanks for reading.
