Fabulous Fragrance Inspiration

Irish beauty blog

You’ll always win me over with flowers and perfume!!

I am such a perfume lover. I’ve lost count of how many bottles I have but trust me, its a lot!! Of course I have my favourites but this time of the year is very exciting for us fragrance fans as we get to sample the delights of the Spring/Summer releases.

So to start off I’m going with a new fragrance release from one of my favourite brands ever, L’occitane.

Herbae par L’Occitane en Provence L’eau

Last year I spoke about the original version of this fragrance in my Mother’s Day Gift Inspiration post. And this year L’occitane have come back with another beautiful version, Herbae par L’occitane L’eau*

A more delicate version of the original, Herbae par L’occitane L’eau is a must have for any big time floral fragrance lover. It’s so feminine and fresh it gives you that “just out of the shower” scent all day long.

I’ve been so impressed with how it lasted throughout the day as well. Not in an overpowering way, more that I can smell it faintly on myself during the day, which I prefer.

The exquisite bottle!!

Lastly, I feel I need to take a moment to point out how pretty the bottle is. Again it’s so delicate and feminine. It compliments the fragrance beautifully.

I think I would go so far as to say that Herbae par L’occitane L’eau is my favourite L’occitane fragrance release of the past few years. It is available in various different sizes but starts from €21 for the 10ml purse spray.

*This fragrance was gifted to me by L’occitane but I am under no obligation to speak about it

Irish beauty blog, Lancome, La Vie Est Belle Intense

La Vie Est Belle Intense

Next up is the most recent release from Lancome, La Vie Est Belle Intense*. I will start off by saying that in the past 6 months, Lancome have completely won me over with their fragrance releases. Firstly the STUNNING Idole, released towards the end of last year. And now this.

This perfume couldn’t be any more different to the first one I spoke about. It’s such sexy fragrance. And it really is intense, so much so that one or two sprays will see you through the entire day.

I would never have been the biggest fan of the original but hand on heart once I smelt this one I just couldn’t get it out of my mind.

It smells so heavenly!!

I might not be the most proficient when it comes to describing fragrances but the one word that springs to mind when I wear this one is powerful. You just feel powerful when you wear it.

I would highly recommend sampling some when you walk by a Lancome counter and if you find it a bit too strong, try the original La Vie Est Belle for a lighter finish.

Prices start from €90 for the 50ml.

*This fragrance was gifted to me by Goldens Pharmacy as part of my ongoing work with them as Brand Ambassador. I have a discount code LL15 which gives you 15% off of everything on their website. The product was gifted to me but I am under no obligation to speak about it. Also the link is not an affiliate link.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Daze

And lastly a new twist on an old classic, Daisy Daze by Marc Jacobs* I wonder if there’s anybody reading this that doesn’t own a version of Daisy in one form or another?

I must say I’ve always loved both the original and the Daisy Eau So Fresh version. For me, they absolutely epitomise Spring.

It’s like Springtime in a bottle!!

Daisy Daze is one of four new fragrances for Spring. It’s a fruitier twist on the original and it’s just so fresh. I’ve been really enjoying it since it arrived, it is such a wonderful every day scent. And even though it’s light and airy I found it quite brilliant for lasting.

If you’re a Daisy fan I suggest seeking out these new editions to smell.

Prices start from €60 for the 50ml bottle

*This fragrance was gifted to me by the brand but as always all opinions are my own

So, have you tried any of these fragrances yet? What’s you go to fragrance for Spring/Summer? Let me know!!

Hi Joanne, they all sound so lovely. I love l’Occitane, so I am really looking forward to trying that scent, when life gets back to normality again, and we can shop again x
